More About the Studio
What to Expect
Offering a step-by-step approach to develop musicians with character.

I welcome students of all ages, though my particular interest lies in remedial teaching.
I invite students of all ages and ability who struggle with tension and pain to begin their journey and engage in lessons to explore playing techniques that are pain and tension free.

Combining my passion for education and love for the cello, I maintain an active teaching studio in Greenville, South Carolina. I am certified by the Suzuki Association of the Americas and have completed Suzuki training in Harrisonburg, Pennsylvania at the Pennsylvania Suzuki Institute.
All of my students participate in recitals and community performances as well as prepare students for orchestral auditions. I incorporate music theory, music history, and orchestral and cello literature listening as a way of rounding my students music education.

Why Suzuki?
“If children hear fine music from the day of their birth and learn to play it, they develop sensitivity, discipline and endurance. They get a beautiful heart.”
Dr. Schinichi Suzuki (https://www.azquotes.com/author/14338-Shinichi_Suzuki)
